It is finally Time for the
BEANTOWN COMEDY RIOTS 2012!!!
Open Mike and Amateur Comics compete Over $2300 In prizes with
a final
$800-1st place prize and a $200-2nd place prize
with a booking each for the final two at each of the Dick Doherty Comedy Clubs,
at GOTHAM COMEDY CLUB NYC and at Mohegan Sun

Each week there will be a $50 and $25 prize.
Semi final prizes will be $75, $50, & $25.

Contest will be held Thursday nights beginning JUNE 7th
at Dick's Beantown Comedy Vault.
10 comics will compete each week for 10 weeks.
There will be three rounds of semifinals and then the final.

All comics who have performed in at least 1 Open Mike Night
at any comedy club and made no more than a $200 average per month
for doing comedy for the past 6 months will be eligible for entry.

Entrance fee is $35.

Judging will be by 2 industry and/or media judges and the audience.
Voting will be on a scale of 1 to 5 by each judge for each comic.

The comics with the highest 2 totals from
the 2 judges & Audience votes
will win 1st & 2nd place each week.
